Model dies in fall from NYC building & Euro 2008

Last nite, when I was watching a Buletin Utama, there's a news at d-bottom of d-screen said "Vogue model dies in fall from NYC building" which caught my attention instantly. Later I found out that d-model was Ruslana Korshunova n I absolutely had no idea who she was.

Anyway, according to wikipedia, she was featured in an article about Almaty's local German language club where she was attending. Then her pics got Debbie Jones's attention n signed her up. So that's how she got her jobs in modeling.

On d-other hand, there still no concrete reason why she jump out of her apartment to her death. Many said, it was a suicide. All in all, d-case is still under investigation. For those who have no idea who d-poor gal that I'm talking about, have a look at d-ad print below. I bet, u guys must have come across with this pic.

Btw, for every fan of EURO 2008, especially those who'r big fan of Spain, all I can say is Congratulations for winning d-Euro 2008. Juz now, I asked one of my colleagues wut d-scores was n he said 1-0. Well, to be honest, I dun give a damn wut d-score was since I'm not really into footballl. But hey, at least, when people ask I'd say..."Spain won"...huhuhu

There's some mistake with regards to Islah's age. Actually he just turned into 28 not 29. He Skype me to inform this matter. Huhuhu

Anyway,it doesn't matter how old ur, bcus to me u look OLDER than ur age. Hehehe...Nay..kidding. It juz a number rite?..As long as u pretend n behave like a mature young boy, then it's ok.

Luncheon at Palace d India, Queensbay Mall

I had a luncheon earlier this noon at Palace d India, Queensbay Mall. This year alone, Integrascreen held two luncheon which is very unlikely for other company to hold an annual luncheon or dinner more than one in a year. Anyway, it's a great thing wut n we were really enjoyed d-food.

We were served an excellent buffet style. D-food selection was awesome. I didn't pile up my plate with overflowing dishes cos I didn't want to end up at toilet for the rest of d-day. But I did take all of d-dishes in a small portions. If I'm not mistaken, they had like more than 10 menus.

Anyway, I didn't have time to snap all those stuff cos I was really indulge myself with those glorious foods. Along d-way, we had game or should I say it's more like a team-building. Or yeah, b4 that, we were seated randomly, not randomly but d-committee had arranged the seat earlier whereby each table must consists of different member of each team.

So, bout d-game aka team-building, we were asked to make a bridge from ice-cream sticks, straw n tape. Then, our so-called bridge will be put into test where a Ferrari toy car will cross d-bridge. If d-toy car manage to reach until d-finish point of the bridge, the owner of that bridge could be a winner. All d-bridges were absolutely firm n working. It's up to d-judges to determine which group/table deserve to win d-game since they were 9 or 10 tables (not sure) vying for d-title.

We lose by d-way...huhuhuhu

RED BOX

We've been postponing our trip to Red Box until earlier this morning where 6 of us (consist of me, Islah, Eja, Ja'a, Tany & Zafri) finally set our foot in Red Box, Gurney Plaza. Well, part of me was extremely thrilled n the other part was urmmm not really in d-mood. The reason was, my voice wasn't really up to d-standard where I normally can hit d-highest note as well as hit d-lowest note. Ahakzzz....It wasn't an excuse or a some sort of boastful remark OKAY.

Actually, we arrived 35 minutes late. D-reason why we chose Sunday morning was merely bcuz we dun have any choice...hehehe. Well, of all rate on that day, Sunday morning from 11.00 am up until 3.00pm, offer the cheapest rate. The rate was RM13 ++, n it's per head.

As we were led to room 7, I was completely urmmm not really, juz a bit amazed with d-interior design. However, d-only fly in d-ointment was d-TOILET. It's not that d-toilet was wet or dirty, but it had a reek of the smell of ammonia all over d-toilet n I was about to puke.

Anyway, as d-mic passed from hand to hand thru an endless of songs, we had our meal (it comes in d-package) n also celebrated Islah's upcoming birthday which is tomorrow. Zafri treated us with cheese cake from Secret Recipe (he went out surreptitiously to buy 6 slices of cake at nearby Secret Recipe).

wait, it's ur 29th birthday rite?...Gosh, getting old and aging already...huhuhu

After belting out quite a number of songs, we hang out at Gurney. Then, off back to Islah's home. I hurriedly entered d-visitor's bedroom n Zzzzzzzz. Then, wake up at 6.20pm something (tot I had slept more than 5 hours) n showered myself. While d-rest were watching Longkhong.

Then, we went our for dinner at seven something. Initially we wanted to eat Nasi Ayam Nazir at Bayan Baru. But, when we were ordering Nasi Ayam, d-waiteress said it's not available at that moment. So, we juz looked at each other n like a speed of Intel processor, we decided to have our dinner at other place. The owner could've put a sign on d-glass door n mention about it n it should read " Nasi Ayam is temporarily not available".

Seriously, it's ridiculous. How could a restaurant by d-name of NASI AYAM NAZIR (actually, I kinda forgot its name) didn't have sufficient chicken. *sigh*

Anyway, we headed to Bangkok Restaurant which is widely known among d-local. In fact, they was awarded "The Best of something..." by some BODY which I couldn't recall as I only glanced over at d-cert which was hang on d-wall. Anyhow, each one of us ordered different kinda dishes, so that we can have a variety of food selection.

Juz now, Islah n I had a pre-dinner at MAKBUL. It juz opposite d-Giant, Bayan Baru. Wut I wanna hitelite here is, we ordered CUCUR UDANG which comes with d-peanut sauce. When we were happily stuffing ourselves with this stuff (d-peanut sauce was fantastic) , suddenly my eyes spot "one thing" landing on one of d-chopped CUCUR UDANG.

White Choc & Cheese Brownies

I'm so full.......juz got back from Secret Recipe. I wanted to try stg new which I haven't tried b4, so I opted 4:

B4 I sink my teeth happily n ruin d-decoration into these 2 pieces of cakes, I took pic using my N82 n set into macro mode. While doing d-semi pro photo-taking, I noticed some of d-patron were looking at me. They must be thinking wut d-hell was I doing...hehehehe

Anyway, d-1st scoop was abs0-fucking-lutely delicious especially d-witechoc. Then, after 2-3 lil' scoop, shifted to cheese brownies. I dun like d-cheese on top of d-brownies. I dunno was it juz me or d-cheese was so strong to me. It killed my appetite in fact, I was almost wanna throw up due to d-bitter taste of d-cheese.

But hey, I managed to clean d-plate effortlesly....hehehehehe. Those pieces of cakes cost me RM12.40 OKAY....got no choice.

Petrol to cost RM2.70

Wut?

RM2.70 per Litre .......I can c where all my money goes for d-next few days or months or year. It's 40% hike n that's way 2 much.

Not only that, TNB also wud be raising d-electric tariff anytime soon. If I'm not mistaken Rm1.00 increase.

They shud do something (government) to prevent our beloved country from becoming like something we never ever tot wud happen. Gosh...hopefully dun.

If only He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is still in power, I'm sure he wud come up with brilliant idea.

Oh ya, last nite when I rode back home, saw long queue at the petrol station and some more, my frend (he's working at Caltex) told me that there's couple of people got into fight 4 some really stupid reason. Well, not really that stupid, it juz a matter of 1st come 1st serve-thingy.

Finally, as u guys can c, pic above was taken with my new precious baby N82....Yeah, I bought N82 last week on Thursday, a day after received my salary. (refer to my previous entry regarding d-decision of buying between N82 & K850i)

Actually, I sent d-pic using N82 since wifi signal in Penang r quite strong (surfing on N82). Then do d-typing on Pc. I juz wanna c d-upload speed transfer using N82. Well, it's worth every ringgit.

I still haven't explored my N82, I mean thoroughly. Plus, d-symbian-thingy also is a new thing to me n I think I need more time to do searches n learn more on this thing.

From now on, all pics (if possible) will be taken using my N82

Anyway, I got myself a new mobilephone n82 as a reward as well as a birthday present since my birthday is coming up this 11 June...hehehehe
